fileWISE™ Deluxe Software is the
first tool that allows you to manage both physical and
digital items the same way, using
the same tool!
By simply "dragging and dropping" files from
Windows ®
Explorer into your fileWISE™ Index,
you can create an index of all of your digital files (i.e.
items you create on a computer such as documents, files,
images, spreadsheets, reports, web pages, e-mail messages,
etc.) |
Once you have
dragged and dropped files into
your Index, you can launch linked files in their native application
by double clicking on the "link" in the "Links
Pane"!
Essentially, you can create a roadmap of all of the files on
your computer, your network, or on removable media (floppy
disks, CD's, Zip drives, etc.), and then add annotations such
as notes, keywords, reminders, and links to these files,
making it easy to locate and use the information in those
files quickly and easily.
You can even
copy and paste text and images directly from computer files
into the "Notes" area, allowing you to view a file's
important contents without ever actually launching the file!
