Note: Patch file 1.03.81 will NOT work with any
users who downloaded a prior patch file for
version 1.01.51 and later. If you are one of
these users, you will need to install patch
file # 1.03.79. Please click

Features:
Patch file 1.03.81 significantly enhances the computer
file management capability of the program by
allowing users to 'drag and drop' files from
Windows Explorer or other file managers (that
support drag and drop) into the user's Index in
the fileWISE Deluxe Software.
This
patch file will enhance the program's
"Find" command by allowing users to
conduct sub-string text searches for linked files
in fileWISE. (i.e users can search using keywords
that can be found in the body text of computer
files)
This
patch file also adds new "view"
capability in the Links Pane, allowing users to
select from different views of their linked files.
(i.e. "large icons", "small
icons", "list" or
"details") Similar to Windows Explorer,
users can sort their linked files in the details
view.

Release Information" below to learn more
about accessing help on how to use these new
features.
Fixes:
Patch file
1.03.81 fixes a known label printing error that
was discovered on some user's PC when attempting
to print labels.

| Download Instructions: |
1. If open, close the FileWISE Deluxe Software application on
your computer's desktop.
2. Click on the download link above to begin downloading
the file.
3. When prompted whether to OPEN or SAVE the file,
please "SAVE" the file to your computer's hard
drive in a folder that you will remember.
4. When the download is completed, locate the file
in the folder where you downloaded the file name :
"FW13Update.exe"
and
double-click on it.
5. The FileWISE Patch Install Wizard will appear
and walk you through the rest of the installation
procedures. Follow the on-screen instructions to
complete the installation process.

newest help file (filename: FW.chm") included
in this patch file contains explicit
instructions and details on how to utilize the
"drag and drop" capabilities for
organizing and managing computer files using
fileWISE Deluxe Software. After downloading and
installing this patch file, you can access this
help as follows:
1. Click on the 'Help' command in the program's
menu bar
2. Click on "Contents and Index" from
the drop-down menu.
3. Click on and open the following topics from the
help file topic "tree":
- Create and Edit and Index, then...
- Adding Items to Your Index, then...
- Add new computer files to Your Index using Drag
and Drop
You can then open any or all of the sub-topics and
review the content for instruction and assistance
on techniques for organizing computer files. You
can also review the document named
"Managing Computer Files using FileWISE
Deluxe Software". See Related Documentation
for Version 1.03.81 below for details on accessing
this document..
