Smart Packing Tips for a Stress Free Vacation  By Joan Kisver

As excited we are about going on vacation, we also dread packing and unpacking. As organized as we try to be, we always forget to pack something or leave something behind. Here are some ways to take the stress out of packing:

* Plan early. About a week before your trip, write down everything that you want to take with you. Go over the list several
times before starting to pack to make sure you are not forgetting anything.

* Do not wait until the night before to pack. If you spread your packing over 2 or 3 days it will not seem such so arduous.

* Cross off or check off each item off your list as it is packed. When finished look over the list to see if you have missed
   anything.

* Your travel wardrobe should be planned around one basic color. Several outfits can be made from only a few pieces. You
will have to pack fewer clothes and accessories.

* Pack an empty canvas bag for carrying home purchases made on the trip.

* Take along plastic bags for laundry and wet clothes.

* While on vacation, pack any items or clothes that will not be used again. This will cut down on repacking time and prevent
    loss.

* Go over your hotel room at least twice to make sure you are not leaving anything behind. Don't forget to look on the shelves
in the closet, under the bed and in the bathroom.

Have a Great Trip!
